Is the EGR system different on 94's? every DSM (90-92) I have worked on I have always disabled the EGR systems and blocked it off with a plate. No CEL.

If your EGR system is broken, you may want to consider blocking it off with a plate.

I do not believe that any harm can come from your car with a stuck open EGR system, although a car with a stuck closed EGR system is what is desirable.

I have an extra EGR valve if you need it.

The EGR valve is located on the passenger side of the intake manifold near the battery tray. Check the vacuum lines running to and from it.

Well you'd have a massive boost leak if you have a failed egr system.

One a 1g the actual solonoid is mounted on the intake manifold and is acuated via vacumm.
The solonoid is located on the firewall.

If you blocked it off you might as well yank the solenoid and vacuum lines. Clean up that engine bay.
