is it possible to take an engine from a 94 talon and put it in a 96 eclipse with the 420a engine?

Yes, but not without lots of fabrication and or money(or so goes the usual answer).
Also, a 94 Talon would have a 7-bolt, not a 6-bolt.

I have done it before.
you will need from a 2g turbo
engine harness
engine bag harness
dash harness
shifter cabels
all 4 engine and tranny mounts
tranny mount bar
you will need the cutout the drivers side upper engine mount for a 2g turbo and unbolt the upper tranny mount off the frame rail.
Just get a 2g turbo parts car.
Or
the real easy way sell it and buy a turbo 2g

what do you think a conversion like that would cost to have somone do?
the car is actualy my brothers car he is so burried into the car he would rather just keep puting money into it than to lose his butt like he is.
anyway we are looking at picking up a complete 94 talon awd turbo although it has an automatic trans
is this somthing we could put into his 96 eclipse 5speed?

'95 and '96 GSTs and GSXs are cheap enough, why not just purchase one?

i guess we might as well just rebuild the 420a thats in the car i suppose
thats our best option right now im guessing

you would be looking at around 3500-4000 to swap it, I would just sell it
