That vidmax site is stupid, but this plane is great.
I was actually there the first time that plane flew. It was built about 17 years ago by Byron Originals out of Iowa. At the time there were in Ida Grove and that is where a huge national fun fly was. At the time they couldn't hardly get it off a concrete runway, so they must have upgraded the engines.
The Ida Grove fun fly was on a big hill, the plane took the whole runway, then went off the end of the hill and disappeared towards the highway below. Everyone gasped. We were all waiting for a huge crash. Then it slowsly appeared on the other side and started to climb a bit. I am sure the pilots had to change their shorts! Yes, there are 2 pilots to it. I believe it has a 28' wingspan, but that is going from memory.

Very cool, but I still like the B52 better. Eight model jet turbines power this thing, 22' wingspan. Unfortunately it bought the farm last year. :(

Wow, that B52 was prety sweet. I didn't know they made turbine engines that small.
Here is the B52 crash.

UAVs are sweet, but not much larger then the Radio controlled airplanes posted above.

why I don't fly R/C Helicopters anymore. Crash's are expensive. Not like that plane but still at least 6 bills for a small crash.
