well, while i was driving my car just slowly died on me. well this is what happen. i open up the timing cover and found a bolt near a small plastic cover, which i think that bolt been there and my timing belt have been riding on it, you can see markes of what the bolt did to the timing belt. The belt didn't break or anything. But when i open up the valve cover, i felt two rockers that was loose and the rest is fine. I dont know if the valves are bent. didn't open the head yet. But yea, if anyone know what happen or what can i do to fixed this problem, let me know. Thanks. P.S. It's a 1st Gen GSX, also is a JDM motor and is there a different between USD and JDM or should i just get a new 1G head.

As always, go through the list of basics. Fuel, Spark, Compression. Find out which one is not operating as intended and go from there.

Do a compression test first before you talking about buying a new head. Who did the engine swap for you?

If i'm understanding you and the picture right, you'll just have to remove the cam, set them in right, and re-install it. Shouldn't be that hard, and if you've already got the head down to where it is in the pic(if that's not a borrowed one) then the hard part is already done.

Are the valves stuck open under those loose rockers?
