Jet, why don't you just tack weld the fuckers?
 So ghetto it just might work!!! ;) I might be able to go. I gotta get a few things inline not car related.

Jet are you using the shorter 7bolt or Supra/ARP flywheel bolts bolts? I know the stock DSM's are to long fot the twin disks. Ive heard its a good idea to run the auto flywheel spacer with the twindisks too

Where have you seen anything about that? On NABR they are recommending using the auto spacer and LONGER auto bolts, but the head has to be shaved down. That is probably what I am going to be trying this time.

Anyone work at a machine shop with a surface grinder or kinow of someone that does? I could do it myself, but I don't have access to one.

I don't remember what I did with mine, but I haven't had any problems, at least not with the clutch or flywheel bolts. Which flywheel do you have?

I used an ARP head bolt washer under the head of each of my flywheel bolts with my twin disc. It didn't come lose even after reving to 11,800, but I never put too many miles on the car, just some trips to Midway and 700whp fun around Elite and on 94.

Aluminum and steel do not weld together well. We had to shave some bolt heads down on a SRT I just used the lathe. I would just take a thin metal ring that would sit just inside or outside of the bolt head and weld all 6 bolts to it.

Actually the twin disks aren't aluminum flywheels. I have the Devo one Steve, so it should be a PTT flywheel. I was thinking the same thing John, if they loosen up one more time I will tack weld the bolts to the spacer from the auto, then I can grind the tacks off and not damage the flywheel itself.

you'll need a Helmet (snel 2000 or better) they'll check your car. Usually just check that the battery is secured and thet you have a coolent overflow.

If I get tires before then I'll tag along but no racing, haven't been to a track once this year.

Welcome to the club! It isn't looking good for me either. I think the car's aborted until next year, once the SMIM, fuel system etc goes in.
