That still sucks.... Granted its rainning like cats and dogs here. Its making me think to call my home owners insurance company just to make sure.

So today they finally decided to let us in. i open the garage door and its a mess. I looked in the car and i see mold over every thing. it looks really bad. so i pull it out and bleach it all and she started up. Oil was all messed up and pure milk, but that was from a previous leak that was keeping the car from the road. So i think i might be able to save the interior but i dont know if its worth it. might be time to pull the whole interior and strip it all and get racing seats. Wait till i post some pics it was terible

Damn, that's about all I can say. I don't think I'd have the heart to keep a car after that.

Every car that got flooded is automatically totaled. Insurance companies won't even bother trying to fix a flood car. The water gets into so many different places you'll never get rid of it all. We've repaired a couple at the shop, but they kept on coming back with different problems related to the water damage.

Well the water didnt get into the engine, just into the oil but thats from a leak the size of my fist (kidding) i already had. She runs and all but the interior was a mess, ive been bleaching the hell out of it and have it all cleaned up and getting fixed now. So i might just gut the interior and look for new seats. Dont puke when you see them.

That mold looks horriable. Be careful around it, it can make you very sick.

How high did the water get?
