I have my car almost done for the Mitsu Cookout. However I am completely lost on what to do for an intake pipe for my turbo. I tried to make the stock one work but it doesn't fit quite right anymore. I also don't want to run a screen over the turbo.

1990 Eclipse
My setup is all SS pipes and the car has a FMIC
It also has a MAF-T So the BOV is vented
The turbo is a small 16G and I want to go bigger later so I don't want to spend a lot of money on this or if I do make one I want it to be somewhat universal so it will fit over another size turbo.

I was wondering is it possible to custom make a pipe at an exhaust shop?

If so what size of pipe and air filter should I be using. I figured I will be buying a universal K&N.

If that doesn't work what else do people recomend. I am kind of on a tight budget....

Thanks

Get the FP intake pipe with their special reducer coupler. Then someday when you upgrade you'll still be able to use their nice 4" intake.

Not exactly cheap, but a good option nontheless.

Get either the FP, or the bullseye power. Somebody makes a carbon fiber one but im not sure who it is.

+1 for the FP.

Or just about any of the shops could make you one.

My 4" intake pipe is home made. They're really easy to make.

What did you make yours out of and how?

I do like the FP... however money right now could be spent better in other places.

if you have a picture that would be great to see it
