Yeah, I know how frustrating it is not being able to get it into gear! I am already itching to drive my car, by next spring I am going to be going nuts!

One of our shop cars pushed 125.7 mph, 25 psi, PTE's smallest 50 trim, stock longblock.

I only made four runs at RF and on the 1st two I never looked at what boost I was running. On the 3rd on I looked and I was only running 24psi. So I gave it a turn before the 4th run and it only went up to 26psi.

Cool, sounds like you need a little bigger turbo Andy. I know you are already planning on that this winter.

Nick, that is hauling for the 50 trim and only 25 psi! Does that car have an upgraded intake mani or ported head? I am just wondering where the diffence is with my car since it is the same turbo. Is it externally gated?

JET,
You have the stage 3 exh wheel i thought? WE are using the smallest 50 trim available w/ the stage 2 exh wheel.
The motor itself is completly bone stock (stock cams, stock pistons, stock rods, stock valves, etc..) Still utilizing a 1G stock intake manifold, AFC. I'd say the car is a freak, haha. Woulda liked to push more boost but still using the stock headgasket and stock headbolts which we reused again so i assume their stretched, so we tried to keep it to a minimum.

Damn! Yep, that is crazy. Mine is a stage 3 wheel. I still don't understand how it got 125.7 mph on 7.8:1 compression, that is just nuts! And with stock cams, how the hell?

Nice work Nick. That's what some tuning and good driving will get for ya.

I was kinda happy to finally get my 11, but it's not as exciting as I would've expected. I'm already working out the bugs that slowed me down, and I promised my wife I wouldn't even think about the car til at least January. Well, so much for that. ;) The research for an improved setup is in progress and the 2.4 block will probably be on the engine stand by the end of the week.

The best part is yet to come....it has yet to see a dyno since the 50 trim has been on there. All butt dyno tuning so far.

Aha, the Shep school of tuning. I do like that myself, it just takes longer.
