I really enjoy going to Bella in Blaine. Helps that it's right across the street, ha!! But they have great service who appear to really enjoy their work and very knowledgeable on the food and wine they serve. Just a very classy restaurant (good for dates), good music, great indoor bar, excellent outdoor bar/patio, great atmosphere. The prices are pretty fair as well, but can get a bit spendy if you buy wine.

If you like great fast food, with a restaurant atmosphere, try Mavericks in Roseville off lexington and laurpenter. They serve the best roast beef sandwich I have ever had, and they've won a lot of awards for it. The owner is a really good family friend, he's even over at holidays, and my grandmother has been working there since they opened 9 years ago. I love everything they serve there, and I actually worked there for 9 months. The food is not terribly cheap, but worth it, and it's a lot of food. If you meet Brett (the owner, who you you can't miss, there's a big pic of him behind the counter...lol), tell him it's your first time in and that Dan (me) sent you. He should hook you up with some free samples.

Yeah, the atmosphere is great there, but the food was a B- and the wine prices were rediculous. They charge $32 for an $8 bottle of wine, most places would be about $21. Biaggi's > Bella's. I just wish there was a Biaggi's closer to us!

I haven't seen anyone mention Sawatdee for thai food.
I have been there and was not really impressed with the food or the place or service. I wouldn't recommend them really.

Bosses son was the head chef at Ruth's Chris up until recently.
You can't go wrong with Mancini's or Yarusso brothers. Yarusso's has the best damn meatballs and dirt cheap.
