has anyone used glyptal to paint the inside of there engine during a rebuild?
Why would you want to paint the inside of the engine? So you can have possible contaminants floating around and to decrease the thermal transfer of the block?

And just exactly what purpose would this serve?

Basically, and simply put, it's supposed to make everything have less friction, and more slippery I guess you could put it, so the oil drains back down into the pan from the head faster. I honestly don't see much of a benefit from doing this. I could see it holding in more heat and doing more harm than good. Only my opinion though, do whatever tickes ur winkle ;)
