Im trying to install the intermediate shaft on my car and Im having troubles. One of the holes lines up with a hole in the block(passanger side mounting bolt) but the other one doesnt line up with anything. I tried putting my AC bracket back it but it doesnt line up with any hole on that either. Am I missing something? I even took the shaft out and lined it up on a spare 7bolt block and its the same thing(one lines up the other doesnt). I need help ASAP!
The AC bracket acts as a spacer, use washers the same thickness to substitute for it. The 2 holes like up with holes in the back of the block, one is more shallow than the other one. The holes are in your AC bracket too so that you can see where they are.

but it doesnt line up with the lower right corner ac hole its like 1 1/2 in to the left(driver side)
Here are some quick pics. Its against a 2g 7bolt engine but the engine thats in there looks the same.

Is there any difference in a 1g vs. a 2g intermediate shaft? He's right though, the bracket does look backwards.
