changed the gasket and still have boost leaks

Anywho, i didn't care to read what you all said, but Brian and I have talked via Pm and i did apologize.
I am sorry for being a dick to people, but there is good reason at times.
I don't have the shop do my work, i do the work myself, as much as my bro wants to do the work sometimes, i make him explain processes to me, while I do the work.

Aarons, right. Everything was settled through pms. I try to be an unbias person and not take sides when possible.

So now that, that's done back to the topic at hand. Anybody have any idea about the valve being smaller than the 40mm opening? Should it be that way?

The bottom gasket, has some kind of O ring that seals that valve, if not maybe some other kind of fire ring.

So i guess, what does the gasket look like?

A bad WG would cause the late spool up like you are seeing. Can you see any light around there? It should have a fairly decent seal around there. If there is a gap, then there is something missing or wrong.

Problem found! I took off the exhaust housing and I found that I blew out the welds and bent the metal plate welded in the upper whole. I'll post up pics later, but I'm going to have the plate rewelded tomorrow and I should have it back together as soon as I get off work. Pics tomorrow and I'll let ya know if that was the only problem.

Huh, must have been welded poorly from the get go. That would explain it though!

Idk it was welded pretty dang good when I looked at it the first time. Hopefully the weld wont blow again

Thats great you found the problem. Kinda shocked you did not hear that leak! Must of been a small minute one. Hope that fix you boost problems.

Well it wasn't really leaking to the atmosphere, it was just leaking into my down pipe. So the air just bypassed the turbine by escaping through the broken weld on the upper hole of the exhaust housing
