Wow bunch of jelous haters here.

1)The r33 is the only skyline Motorx actually put thru testing to make it "pass" for inspections, so it is probably the most common skyline here in the states (as Motorx imported mostly R33's for legality reasons).

2)Its a stock skyline. Why is he a ricer/fanboy if it is a stock car? Maybe he likes it the way it is, Nissan did do a very good job with them from the factory.

3)What if a senior member here got a skyline and left it stock for awhile? Would they get flammed just like this guy is?

Grow up people it is just a car. Maybe your mothers didn't hug you enough when you were grown up, but you don't need to be hating on him. Yes this person is probably a douchebag to everyone that asks about his car at this point in time, but do you blame him?

I am sure he purchased the car (or had his parents purchase the car, doesn't matter) because he loves skylines and probably wanted some attention.

My reply was mearly a joke.

But to answer your question Josh, if this guy really is a douchebag like he came across as in that thread, then yes of course I blame him. I don't care what kind of material possesions anyone has, I still believe in the rule "treat others as you would like to be treated". If you think you are better then others simply because of something you bought, and talk down upon other people because of simply that, then that to me makes you a douche. Pretty simple really.

Now if the same person keeps coming over and saying the same dumb shit to you and is annoying the living piss out of you, well then yes, tell them to get the hell away. But to immediately be an ass to someone because you feel you're a bigger and better person because of something you own, then that makes them an idiot in my eyes.

I personally would love to own that car, I love them. But if I did, I wouldn't come across as some sort of king shit of fuck mountain.

Yeah, the guy's actually a buddy of mine. He's a nice guy, and I like the car. And yes, he usually does act like a douchebag to most people he doesn't know, but it's not like he's the only douchebag down at uni every weekend. Not that it really matters either way, but his rents DIDN'T buy the car for him either. Everything else I have to add on this subject is 3 posts up. There's a fucking bajillion posts about his car on MNSC too.

And...

If a guy bought that kind of car, and immediately put neonz under it, don't even tell me you wouldn't be laughing in the back of your mind haha.

HA, yeah I'm not too proud of him for that one. But then again, I can't really say much... I drive the matt d. mobile right now! To each their own ;)

And lil brown, despite your aweful teal hoopty, you're a good guy! That's all I'm saying. Material possessions don't make up person, their personallity does. Sure it's cool and exciting to have nice things, I mean I'm always excited when I have something cool and new. But in turn I do not rub it in anyones face, and I don't feel it makes me a better person. Toys are fun, they're here to make people happy and enjoy. But to be a little punk and get on some sort of high horse because of it, that to me is a pretty shallow individual.
