hey guys-

Where do you get your exhaust gaskets from? I'm having trouble find a new downpipe to cat converter gasket. It's a 3" with a 2 bolt flange. I've tried both Napa and Carquest without any luck. The only other stores around me are Adance Auto & Checker but they about 50 min drive. Any help would be appreciated, part numbers would be even more appreciated. I just can't reuse this one that was on there any more.

Thanks.

Try a muffler shop.

I had trouble a while back too... Even the muffler shops didnt have them. I ended up finding one at Mr Muffler in Hudson when I was out there.

Thanks.... we have a muffler shop about 10 minutes away. I will try them. Not sure they will have it either. Not much to pick from in my area.

I've had some luck with JC whitney in the past, though I've given up on gaskets and just use gasket maker in a tube now.

I always used to get mine at Checker and Autozone, I'd take a ruler back to their gasket boxes and start digging around until I found a 3", I recommend you do the same at whatever parts store is near you. I think the 3" I needed ended up being some old Ford diesel pickup. If for some reason that doesn't work, just order them online from one of the big DSM vendors (or maybe one of our board sponsors).

Yep, I did the same at Checker. They only had one in stock, so I had to drive to another location to get the 2nd. Just go back and measure their exhaust gaskets.
