We just wrapped this guy up for a customer in Illinois.

Specs:

2.3l Stroker
O-Ringed Block
Eagle Crankshaft
Manley I Beam Rods
Wiseco Pistons
ACL Race Bearings

Should be quite the powerhouse!

Nice. Why did he go with the Wiseco instead of the Mahle pistons?

I believe it was mostly due to the compression ratio as the Wiseco's are 8.8:1 and the Mahle 2.3l pistons are 9.5:1.

What are your recommendations for a rev limit on that 2.3?

I wouldn't trust that rod ratio over 8500rpm's, that is what we are revving Kyle's Mahle/Eagle to at this point. Perhaps when she gets older we will find the breaking point ;)
