I've talked to him on AIM a few times and from what I gathered was a pretty cool guy, only wish I had the chance to meet him in person.

Sucks he had to leave so much! Rest in peace man...

Wow, geesh ya too many people dieing on those things this year. I was looking into getting one, but I'm starting to think twice. I'll just get a boat instead. But my condolenses, that is just too bad. His brother is a good guy too, I hope he stays strong and can get through this alright.

I was lucky to hang out with him a few day ago, Kyle and myself went on a 130 mile bike ride that day and He took us to one of his favorite roads, out in prescott.

Definetely a great guy, great Rider, He'll be missed for sure.

This also is from MNSBR

I am having a get together to remember Shrep. I will post details in the Events forum.

I think Shrep would have wanted us to not dwell on the sadness but remember him as he was. Let's get together and enjoy his memory and enjoy time with friends. Shrep and I were close but you know how it is with everyday life keeping us too busy to enjoy each other's friendships. I would like to have everyone get together and have a good night with friends in his honor.

This Tuesday from 6 to whenever. Bring your bike or best car, he would have liked that.

That really sucks, He was a really good guy, and was always super nice to me from the day I met him at one of the applebees meets. He will really be missed.

My god... That bike doesnt look like anyone could have gotten killed on it.

Does anyone know what exactly happened?

Freak accident maybe?

How the bike looks doesn't matter really, you can die going 20mph if the circumstance are right. I have been down going 15mph before and got all fucked up while wearing leathers and a helmet while my buddy hit a deer going 60mph wearing a t-shirt and just got a few scratches.

Its hard to tell anything from those pictures, but if one had to guess I would say the corner was missed and he left the bike and hit the sign or a tree. Either way what a shame, that makes three people I know this year that have gotten killed on motorcycles. Maybe I should sell mine.

For what it's worth, a friend of mine laid his bike down in Owatonna on Sunday because an old lady pulled out in front of him. Another friend close to this one also just bought a brand new Yamaha R1... I'm definitely not looking forward to the rest of the summer.
