It kinda snuck up on me. Sorry I didn't get it posted earlier. This is a very fun rally with a great headquarters (The Shooting Star Casino).
We are still desperately short of workers in all specialties for the 2007 Shooting Star Rally weekend June 8-9 in Mahnomen, MN. Friday night is the Northern Lights rally, and Saturday is the Shooting Star rally. Workers are needed for either one or both events.
Our rally features a great headquarters in the Shooting Star Casino Hotel. The hotel gives the rally a great rate, and when you check in you get a bunch of freebies that make it very cheap.
Due to new road permission issues, we've had to modify the course to be much more compact than we usually do in Minnesota, meaning that course marshals, for one, will need to do less moving and more watching than they usually do. Most workers will see two stages Friday night and three on Saturday.
I want to encourage all area competitors who are not running the events to come out and work, and show your support for the community which provided those events which you have been able to run. I can tell you from experience that working is almost as much fun as competing, and a lot cheaper!
Please sign up to work at:
http://www.marblesoft.com/rally/workers
Hotel reservations can be made by calling 1-800-453-7827 and using the room
block code "CLUB RALLY". Rooms are available for Thurs, Fri, and
Saturday night at our special rates.
Thank you for your support,
Erik D
