I just installed AEM EMS and I'm looking for a basemap so I can drive my car to DB to have it tuned. Just seeing if anyone can help; because I'd really hate having to get a flat bed to tow it from Minneapolis to Rogers.

My relevant mods are: 2.3l, 750cc FICs, stock cams, stock intake mani, dnp exhaust mani, open downpipe. GM AIT, 5 bar AEM MAP, GM BC Solenoid, AEM UEGO connected to stock o2 wire.

Just have Shane send you a basemap.

There's a couple in the calibrations file that should get you up there. Just don't get into boost. Worst case you pick the 450cc one then open the fuel map with the key on but not started, right click anywhere on the map and the bottom option is "change fuel pressure/injectors". Put 450cc in the top box, 750cc in teh bottom and you'll be good to go.

That's not relevant unless someone offers a boost comp map. You will have to find out on the freeway.

I have the basemaps that come with AEM. I did what Steve said and scaled the injectors to 750ccs on a basemap, but the car won't idle. I removed the FAIV and Stepper motor while installing some new parts. Maybe that's why?

It's unbelievable how many people tell me this, even after building the motor myself.

This tune is to get the car running to get me to work to make money for everything else I need to complete my build.

Since it doesnt matter on the "base tune" to get you to DB, bring up the fuel map and select the first 3-4 rows up (vac-boost) and 4-5 rows to the right (RPM) up to say, 2000rpms and start tapping the "+" key to raise the fuel until it idles. This will get you by to DB.

Make sure you select the "MAP" calibration. Go into the sensor menu and make sure the AEM 5 bar is selected and do the same thing with the IAT sensor.

Hope this helps a little. :)

Did you ask shane to send you a basemap, since you are getting it tuned up there?

Thanks I'll see how that goes.

I'm speaking with him in PMs about it right now. I like fiddling with stuff myself, that's the reason why I'm asking others for suggestions.

It doesn't need to idle to drive it. A car that actually idles is for pansies.
