1g bov gasket

I currently have a 1g bov on my 2g and thinking about putting on a hks ssqv bov with a 1g adaptor. Do I really need a 1g bov gasket to make it work and not leak or will some regular RTV gasket silicone metarial do the job without leaking?

i also rtv'd the head gasket and TB gasket and most importantly the Exh manifold gasket. J/k, gaskets are the way 2 go
