How well does the GM Maf run with an AFC?? I plan on getting DSM Link in a couple of months but for the time being I want to get rid of my 2G mas. Help me out.

You will need a MAF-Translator box.

Is there really a need to make 2 posts about this?

MAF-T and an AFC work fine in unison, I always had my maf-t zero'd out and then tuned with the AFC.

Same here, back when I had my big 16g. It works swell.

I use the MAF-T for rough tuning, then fine tuned with the AFC.

I'd stick with the 2G maf till you overrun it. it meters alot beter and retains the stock intake temp sensor and baro sensor. The only benifit of the MAF-T if your not over running your stocker is the ability to vent your BOV.

Ok I have a built motor, hks 272's, scm-61, 550's, 2g mas and a afc. I have the GM maf and Translator, but I wanted to wait to put it in when I got my fuel pressure regulator, 1,000 CC injectors and DSM Link, but i overrun my afc at 25 psi. So i don't know what to do, put in the GM MAF, or just run 20 psi till I can get my injectors and dsmlink? My car runs excellent with the 2G mas.

Put it on and have somebody tune it correctly. DON'T JUST PUT IT ON, HAVE IT TUNED.
