im trying to replace my stock plastic intake tube with a hard pipe. i noticed that there is a difference in size to where it bolts to the turbo and to the intake box or maf.. what size cupplings would i need on both sides and where is a good hard pipe with that kind of bend?
What size of turbo do you have? Stock is 2.25".

if i remember right, theres two hoses that run off that intake tube into the engine.. will getting an intake pipe with one nipple and plumb a T fitting on it work??

you can just cut off the elbow and put in a 45* 2.25" hard pipe and use the rest of the stock rubber one. I think there is a VFAQ on it.

Dejon makes some pretty decent intake pipes for good prices.

Don't use PVC under your hood, if you insist on going the Home Depot route (which you shouldn't) use ABS plastic instead.
