I'm looking for someone to take the stock left headlight housing, and turn it into an air inlet for the turbo when I visit the track, sorta like how AMS's old setup on their silver evo was. any suggestions? I'm trying to find pics, but I'm unsuccessful. I don't want to just drill a big hole in the center of it, and attach a tube to some a/c ducting to the turbo...tacky.

which part of the headlight housing, I have done a lil bit but that would probally be over my head.... and are you planning on painting the entire headlight or just the high or low beam area that you take out

I would use a screen mesh to cover up the opening, but i want the whole headlight used as the shape with a funnel molded in just like AMS's evo. google search it for images.

It isn't super difficult to do, but it is time consuming. You will need a sacrificial headlight housing, drill the inlet hole then bondo the inside of it to the shape you want. Put a layer of cheap turtle wax car wax on it, then wipe it off and put a really thick layer on it leave it. Do the fiberglassing and the turtle wax is a decent release agent and will allow it to come out when it is dried.

Is this kind of what you're looking at doing?

I am looking to do this too. This is one pic I have found. It alows you to keep a headlight so you an still drive at night with it(if you have to)(2G).

I think most everything on that aerocomp car was one-off and expensive. I would just run with Jet's explanation and that picture, that should get you there.

Well, I guess does anyone have a spare headlight for me to work with?
