My 2g gst is finally done after all these years of modding it up, having it break down because of no tuning, and just stupid stuff here and there. This here is probably just something small to you bigger hp craving people but to me, it's a huge accomplishment on the car. It's just use as a daily driver and some weekend fun. I originally wanted to bring my car up to MN to get it dyno tuned but my car wouldn't make it so I got it tuned here in WI from a very well known shop tuner. I finally got the car dyno and tuned yesterday and the results were a little bit better than what I expected. The car managed to put out 291 whp at 18 psi on pump gas.

My mods are just a Evo3 16g, exhuast manifold ported to a 7cm,walbro 255 fuel pump, Denso 660 injectors, ngk bpr7es spark plugs and wires, buschur racing uicp with 1g bov, gm maft v2, safc 2, ebay 3" dp with no cat., buschur racing 3" catback, Greddy 24r fmic, and that will be it.

Spent so much money on the car that I haven't even tested the car's new potential yet. I kind of want it to last and look good before I start breaking it again. Can't wait to hit the tracks to see what this car can hit though. Any body want to give a guess? It's a 2g gst and got some nitto 555r drags wrapped onto my 16 in. rims in the front. This is it for me, no more modding, too expensive and too much time. I need to focus on more important things than my "DSM".

:fishing1:

Here's some pictures, they're the old ones but will do. The only difference from the old pictures to how the car looks now is I just kind of had to cut some of the bumper pieces away to make the fmic fit good and I washed and polished it up.

***UPDATE***
Well, after the awesome tune I got from a local dyno tuning shop, took the car out today to WIR RSD, a local drag strap near my location, and I managed to get a 13.84 on my 1/4 time. I'm no hardcore racer so I just drove like I normally drive with some noob launches. My reactions on that run were .613 and a 2.387 for I1, whatever that is and my mph was 102.942. That was good enough for me. As long as I broke into the 13 seconds then I'm happy. Didn't really want to beat that Duralast clutch into dust anytime soon either so I just stopped after four runs.

It's rare to hear of a car project being called done!

Thanks for the inspiration to know it's possible. Nicely Done.

Yeah, HP is like a disease. Good job on getting it going again and have fun with it! The car looks really nice and clean.

No, this is really it for me other than to just keep up with the regular car maintenance. I just got too much on my hands and just went and got a loan for a new car so no more. The car is running great now and let's just keep it at that for as long as possible.

Car looks great! What kind of dyno did you make that power on? I am getting close to my "done" point, but these guys are right. It's really hard to keep out of it because there's always that last little thing you can do. For me it's cams and a new clutch. For others its 42r's and sm61s lol. Congrats. What's next?

I swear to god you guys are jinxing me or something. After getting home on Friday night from the tracks and not driving it until Sunday night, the car would not start. I think the turbotimer for some reason is killing the battery. And what do you know? A new clutch will be needed soon for more hp and mostly because that Autozone Duralast clutch is not going to last so long in there. New rotors and brakes will be needed. While I'm at it, why not throw in some ARP headstuds to push more hp right? Man, got to get rid of this dsm fast before I find myself in debt.
