Any guess how on my safc where the first thing it reads is I think Karman when you're on the monitoring screen? Mine is only reading 3 hz and it's not moving at all. It use to work just fine before and I didn't mess with anything near that area except hooked up my rewire kit for the fuel pump. It was after that, that I noticed it was only reading 3 hz. If the connection was loose, would it even read at all? I hate this car, it's like one problem after another.

Check the wires at the ECU, my bet is one of them came loose.

Hahahah...We've all said that once, twice, or more!

I agree, loose wire, or you messed with the settings. Do you have interior-gremlins? Check the wires where you spliced, etc..

you might wanna check the wires at the ecu, when i installed mine i had used the wrong wires and it was reading 3hz all the time.

Well, when I first got it installed awhile back, less than a month, it was reading fine. It was just two days ago that I notice it was only reading 3 Hz.

Check the connection to your MAS, unplug it and plug it back in. Also, double check the MAS signal wires to/from the SAFC , the wire going into the ECU w/ the MAS signal from the afc.

3 Hz is effectively zero, it means there's power but no reading from the MAS. I've this happen several times & it was always an issue w/ the MAS or my MAF-T.

I'm at work right now already. I'll check it out tonight. Maybe it is what scheides said as I do have a gm maf-t also.

Ahh interesting. FYI, mine would read 3Hz from time to time for 'no reason'. Well as it turns out I was getting moisture inside my MAF-T controller box. My car had been at a local shop and when it got home I noticed that the cover was missing. They sent me the cover, but never sent the screws so it was a problem from time to time after that. In the end, I used a little bit of silicone around the edge of the thing to keep moisture out and I never had a problem after that.

It would happen after I'd go through a car wash, if it was snowing REALLY hard/wet, in the rain, etc. Everything would be fine, I'd be cruising along or whatever and then the car would just run like shit all of a sudden. I'd look down at my SAFC and it read 3 Hz, i.e. zero. A few minutes with either a hair dryer, compressed air hose, or me blowing over and over and over and over on the electronics inside the thing would 'fix' it, but it was not fun, I'll tell you that.

Good luck!
