How much do youthink shipping would be? If less than like $400 than sure if the car is good and runing but for a project car I would have to think about it.
From the Midwest out to Washington, I'm guessing roughly $500, but I could be wrong. A buddy of mine had a car shipped from Texas to Iowa and that was about $500.

I am thinking of getting my friend's stock 91 talon with rebuilt heads and I think he said it was bored out 3 something. I was wondering what I should do to it to make it into a very fast dd. Well mainly in the summer or one a nice day. He is selling it for $2000 cause he needs the money. The only thing wrong with it is the tach doesn't work and it has 128K miles on it. If I got that car what would be the best thing to do with it if I had about $2000 plus $400 a month to put into it? Thanks for all the help with the noobie. Also I love watching all the vids of the dsm's smoking all the v8's. My dad loves v8's and hates all 4 cylinders. I love 1g talons.

I'm assuming that your friend's Talon is a TSi. You should get us all the details about the car so that we can help you out as much as possible. You definitely want to get copies of the all the receipts for the work the car has had. Before you worry about modifying the car, you will definitely want to go through the entire maintenance routine: plugs, wires, change all fluids, change all belts, replace all filters, etc. We can help you through the process of picking out what brands and specifications of the parts you will need.

I believe the years with the popup headlights were the '90 and '91.

What are you specifically looking for? There are endless sites out there where you can purchase "parts."

Start out with Elite Autosport, (http://www.elite-autosport.com/) Quick Precision Racing (http://www.qprinc.com/), and Straightline Specialties (http://www.straightlinespecialties.com/) since they are all three supporters of DSMStyle.com.
