Scheides- no car can have darker than 50% on any windows, even rears. Trucks and vans have different laws.
Wait what? I have called the cop station back home on three separate occasions and talked to three different people and I got three different answers. First time I got some weird shit I cant even remember. Second time the lady told me no tint was legal at all. The third time the cop even left and called me back with what he found (and that I had believed) is that it was 35% on the front windows and anything behind didnt matter. Was he wrong???

Wow... i must say that galant has got to be the cleanest Boxcar i have ever seen.
thanks.
i took off the tint from the 4 windows on the sides (front, back, driver, passenger) but left the rear and back corners last night. that glue is hard to take off.
well i pull out of the garage this morning, look over my shoulder as im backing out. the sun hits me straight in the face and blinds the hell outta me.
i then proceeded to say... "fucking gay."

This subdivision does not apply to glazing materials which...
...are required to satisfy prescription or medical needs of the driver of the vehicle or a passenger if the driver or passenger is in possession of the prescription or a physician's statement of medical need

That is one of the things I like about tint, it blocks the sun. I didn't get my GTP tinted solely for looks. My car is black with black leather, the tint kept the car about 30 degrees cooler in the summer. Plus when I was driving the sun didn't cook the shit out of me or blind me.
I mean seriously, if you are going to shoot a cop when he pulls you over; window tint is not going to make a difference. Its just some bullshit law so they can make more money. Plus it gives them more reasons to stop cars for whatever reason.

No the tint law is so they can see you. Its for there safety but eh...I love to tint the Talon. But I am going to stay in within the law requrements.
