The law does apply to trucks, vans, SUV's as well, but it states that the FRONT windows cannot be darker than 50% on any vehicle. Your back windows can be as dark as you want, but since you drive a 2 door, you're limited to your rear triangles and the rear hatch.

I ran 30% all around on my 2G & never had a problem. I also run 30% all around on my Evo, and have only been minorly harassed about it once.

Scheides- no car can have darker than 50% on any windows, even rears. Trucks and vans have different laws.

Redo the fronts in 50% then, only the front windows need to be the lower tint.

Not true. Go read the actual law about window tint. All windows are supposed to be at 50%.

I once thought on a passenger vehicle only the driver and passenger windowns applied but I got pulled over for my tint on the GTP and he said that all windows fall under the same category.

Even if they can't get a meter on it, if they think its illegal they can ticket you.

Assholes! I just did a bunch of googling and everything came back as you guys stated, no more than 50% anywhere. Damn it!

Limos are an exception somewhere in the laws. If the passenger vehicle is 'so long' it can be deemed as a limo if it is used for transporting passengers as a buisness.

The thing I don't get is what is the difference between a 4 door SUV or Truck vs. a 4 door car? I see SUV ridin dirty down here all the time with limo tint. And I get pulled over in my GTP for having dark tint? Come on.

That is true that the law actually states that, but I have had 2 cars with darker rear 1/4 windows and rear window and have never been harrassed because I had 50% on the side windows. Other cars with 35% all the way around, I have been harrassed with. Most of the cops won't realize that the windows are different from 35% to 50% and you can get by with it. If you limo tint them, then it will be obvious.
