I'm pretty sure someone in this forum has done this already but I just want to know how it looks and how low can you get the car to be dropped with out making it look like a monster truck. And if it's better to just stick with 17s.
Thanks.
I would just get worried about bending wheels with the lo pro tires you would have to run. Other than that, it should be just fine with the correct offset (30-35mm) and a 225 sized tire.

well the rims i'm thinking about getting have an offset of 40 or 45 i think. And what do you mean by "bending"? Do you mean potholes with low pros.

Yes pothole's, with very low-pro rubber take a few chips out of the rims or worse yet bend the shit out of them.

1G's look good with 17's IMO, 2G's with 18's.

To each his own, but I'd go with 18's and be conscious of where your driving - just avoid the big holes. But bigger rims always look better. It sometimes does depend on the car, but i think the wheel arches are big enough on the 1G to look right with 18's.
Yeah, 1G's just look funny with 18's.

There's one that was at the SO a few years ago, looked good. Not donk-ish.
