Holy cow!!!!!!

Okay...I had bought a PC (orbital buffer) back in September but never had time to use it. Well a month ago or so, I played with it a small bit on my hood but didn't have time to do the whole thing. Well...I was off work on Friday so I did it!!

I was thoroughly amazed at the amount of scratches and swirls in the paint and how they are now just magically gone!!!! This PC friggin' rocks!!

I guess it just takes time and practice but it took me a little over 2.5 hours to just go over the whole thing with the SSR1. Then I hit it with some EX which actually only took me about an hour or so.

Nevertheless, here's what I did step by step...

Washed with Megs Gold Class
Claybarred the entire car
Claybarred the glass
SSR1 with a polishing pad
EX with finishing pad
Stoners on all glass inside and out
NXT Insane Shine on the Toyos
Coffee and Red Bull for myself for motivation!!

So, here are some pics...I know they aren't the greatest. It's cold and crappy here today.

There you have it. Hope you all enjoy.

I've been frustrated as heck with owning a black car, but this PC has helped me to feel a bit better about it. The amount of time I spend keeping it clean almost outweighs the amount of time I drive it.

And if you have any questions or want to learn about detailing in much more depth, visit www.detailcity.com as there are a ton of talented people over there who can offer many great tips and tricks. Plus I designed the website logo and banner.

Looks pretty sweet. I need to get a buffer on my car. I washed it at work yesterday and the thing has swirl marks and a ton of small scratches all over the place.

Thanks guys. I was totally thrilled with how it turned out!

I don't think I'll ever buy another black car unless I don't have to drive it everyday.

Nice work, always been weary useing a buffer to paint, but Chrome & Aluminum is a whole other ball game. King of Bling. I like those rims, 20's?
