Cheap Car transport?

I'm stationed at NAS Oceana in virginia Beach and I wanna try to get my car out here before I come home on leave. Does anyone know of a good transporting place that doesn't cost an arm and leg..

When I got my car we used a place that was only $500 from southern florida to northern minnesota. I dont know what the place was called and I know that doesnt help much, but I do know that it can be had for that cheap. I do however know two guys that drive car hauling trucks. I believe they are independant guys that just kinda make rounds over the US. If you want it NOW its going to be more as they might not be going there anyway, but if you can wait until when they are going to be there I think hes a pretty reasonable guy. If you want I will get you their numbers.

Cool I will let you know. As of right now the plan is to hopefully have a buddy drive it here. Hopefully it will make it lol. Just wanna have a back up plan in case i have to ship it.

It's not that cheap anymore. I"ve been on the phone for the last three days and finally got a *dealer* price of $690/car for 6 cars I"ve got down there. Gas prices have made it a lot higher. A single car is more like $850/car right now.

DAS was the cheapest I found for onesies.
