View Full Version : Engine Stands?
Need 2 more and I don't care if it's local or shipped, I want to know where to get one at a good price. I can pick them up at Northern Tool for $49.00 each.

there is a nothern tool scratch and dent in hudson wi. ryans dad bought a 200 dollar tranny jack for under 40 and he bought a few other things for cheap as hell.
with engine stands its always really nice to spend a few extra dollars and buy one with a ball bearing swivel much easier to turn and user freindly. think about it.

I have the northern stand and I am not that happy with it. It is nice and stable with the four corner base, I've dumped my three wheel one once. Look at how far ou the posts that go to the tranny bolts are, the northern one is short and you can't get at the rear main seal without making a spacer out of nuts on some long as bolts.
Look for long attachment posts and ball bearing would be nice too. I've never had one with barrings, but I have fought with ones that haven't by myself late at night trying to get the pin in. It can blow.

no no dont go through harbor frieght. if its the Harbor Frieght im thinking of 98% of their frieght comes through Mid-States Express where i work and they ship the ugliest shit ever or wait maybe im thinking of oak harbor frieght. whatever its all crap. Grip on tools sends a lot of stuff through our work, they might only be wholesale.
I went to hudson to check it out at the Northern Tool Outlet and they didn't have any in and they didn't plan on any coming for a couple weeks so i dont know what to tell ya.

You can get this stand like I have here with the front t-bar that spreads out the wheels for more stability at PepBoys. I got this one for $59.95 + tax.
