The Reason I ask, is becuase Im tryin to figure out a way to make My eclipse differ from every other 2 gen, from an eyes veiw. Which is exactly what you said, just the stock 97-99 body style, yeah it looks good, for that fact it looks great!. But there has to be somthing I Can do to tweak it. It just, it all ends up looking the same.

Yea you can deffinatly tweak the style and get a body kit. It will stand out a lot...Just not in a good way. If you want to look good go get a fresh paint job and some killer wheels to go with it.

It's easy to make a car stand out without adding a body kit(which virtually all look like shit to most members of this community). It just takes a little bit more thought, planning, and tact. Most people just dont have the creativity, talent, effort, etc it requires to do so. Things like a nice carbon fiber hood and front lip can go a long way with a tasteful set of wheels and the right drop.
If you want attention, then by all means get the body kit. If you want to stand out, the difference is in the details.

In the end I encourage him to do what he wants with his car but this last statement by CVD htis the nail on the head 10 fold.

I think it looks nice and they do fit every time plus I have the mirror's,fender blinkers and tails that are on it already but the kit is too much money

No i got what you guys are saying,
+body kits=big money spent, for the wrong kind of attention.
+Stock with minor tweaks and rims=looks Damn good, and anyone that knows a dsm will respect the style.

I like the factory 97-99 look but not gonna say much because I personally have the RDORA kit (bought it already on the car) on my black '99 spyder and love it. Its not to aggressive.
How the fuck did you get that car so damn shiney. Thats fucking hot.
