wow I give Steve the win on this one for trying to play Duran Duran on Bass. My boss at work is a huge fan of them. And I have to say my fav song is Girls on Film.
Here Steve you can see that naughty vid again: NWS people ok...

Toni Basil, now that's early MTV, first year stuff. George Michael actually had some really good songs, obviously none of the stuff that got big airplay. I still throw in his CD's once in a while. Good memories from my dating days. :sex2:

Oddly enough they had some of the best musicians on tap. Terry Bozzio and Warren Cuccurullo. If you haven't seen a Terry Bozzio drum solo, YOU SHOULD.
Here's a couple for you to watch.
1 old one live.

Terry Bozzio is the man, but I still like Portnoy better.
Awesome stuff, MTV actually was worth watching back then. I remember going to my buddy's house after school just to watch it since we didn't have cable. They lost me when they pushed Clinton heavily in 1991-1992.

Can't go wrong with anything Portnoy does. John Petrucci is probably one of the greatest guitarist ever.
Headbanger's Ball (original version w/Rikki Rachtman) was a Saturday night must have back then.

Wow talk about flood of the synths. hahaha I am kinda glad and sad that I missed most of that stuff. But when the 90's came around I heard of that stuff. Terry is pretty damn good on the drums.
I dig the Fear Factorys remake of Cars. If you have not heard it go give it a listen
