You're not going to break anything on the dyno that you wouldn't break from a WOT pull on the street.
Also, everyhing should kick off right around 10:30 as well with Swannys car on the rollers. So if you're interested in seeing what the LSE Yacht can put down with it's sails up and the wind behind it I'd suggest getting their earlier as well.
That is true. We'll see. As of right now I don't want to be held up to it, but if I feel lucky and there's an open spot, I'll give it a whirl.
I'll be up there fairly early. I like to get to places really early.

I would have liked to have gotten them through you guys, but I just got the cheap Ford ones, they seem to work fine with the EMS. $196 shipped.
Either Steve or the MAP guys should have a nice looking trophy!
Yeah I know how that goes. Slow progress on all of our cars, just to much customer stuff to do.
I might be on the rollers saturday. If not, no biggy.

As in the past, Cars owned by performance based shop employees or owners aren't abel to take home the Trophies. Jet and Steve woudl still be allowed, but the DB, MAP, and LSE cars would all be out of the running. As with last year, the sponsors where all good with this, as the events is for the members.
The Pull off trophies though are game for everyone. I want to see even more teams this year for the pull off. Maybe this year we pull a Yacht?

Why are Jet and Steve allowed but not shop employees? Jet has his business and so does Steve- both auto sales and engine building now. Just curious how that works. If it was a shop car, where mutliple people own it I can see them not being able to win, but I think individuals own them all.

Quit stirring shit up, this is what we did last year as well. I don't consider SGH or Jet's Customs the same as MAP, DB, or LSE. But if we changed it one way over the other I would rather see it be changed to all cars related to sponsors are not eligable for the trohpy. This is for the members of the site remember.
But maybe a new tradition needs to start. I a rolling Trophie or Plaque to hang for the Big Dog Sponsor award. Most HP from a sponsors car takes it home, and it get's defneded at the next dyno event. Might be kinda cool.

Then I want my DB trophy, who has it? Cough it up! LOL.
These events are for the members, not the shops. Now Justin and Steve are "shop" owners but it is on a different scale. They do not have a dyno in their backyard as the rest of us do.
If we outlawed it for anyone that works on any other members cars, then the TKR guys as well as the guys from Winona, and a few other scattered members would be ineligible.
I own my car, but I consider it a shop effort. I use shop assets to get it done, therefore I have an advantage (and curse) compared to other members of this forum.

Well this is a huge blow for me. My parents, as of right now, won't let me take my car up there for several issues. Mainly because it's under my dad's name untill I graduate, and I'm on their insurance plan.
It pisses me off, but what am I suppose to do. I'll talk to em tonight about it again, but it looks like I might end up going in my g/f's grand am. :angryfire:

That'll be my number to beat then Scheides. I made 284 last time on the dyno, so hopefully I can squeeze out a little more and top you! I just realised today that my Forge Unos MBC has the soft spring in it, and isn't allowing me to boost past 20psi, and I lost the stiff spring. So I put in a cheapy one I had laying around, and for a $15 ebay thing, it's performing quite well, and I'm at a steady 24psi right now. Will be gradually bumping it up over the next couple days.
And sure I'll be the 11AM man. I should be there early enough.
305whp but that was only 24psi. I'm running 25 now & ideally would be running about 27-28 peak:

Brandon you should be able to beat that on your new setup if you up the boost on that bad boy! Wanna be my 11am man?
