You can get any size rim you want.

What Year/Make/Model car?
Do you have a brake upgrade?
Widebody kit?
Suspension upgrades?

1990 1g talon AWD TSI, no suspension yet.

I'm going to get suspension in the summer possibly teins. Im going to try to drop the car as low as it can go without having the tires get all touchy with the fenders and no it's not a widebody.

Also want to get a set of 17's but im just not sure whats the best offset I can get to get a decent lip and have it dropped so that the rims doesn't get in the way of the suspension and fenders.

So if you know the numbers please respond

I think you go with like 42+ mm offset.

40mm is common.

www.vfaq.com has some good wheel and tire information.
