I guess he was letting off at the 1/8th and running 12s. Interesting at all the money and time invested but no roll cage.

Geez, I haven't heard anything about that car in years. Good to see it's still out there. I'd really like to see what it'd do with no cage restriction rules.

Kinda reminds me of the twin engine CRX that Car and Driver did back in 84.

They talked about double takes from gas station customers when they would hear one engine start and about a second later the second engine fire up.

That was back in 1986, I remember that article as well. The CRX was pretty pimp back then, not so much now.

It was at the DSM Shootout a few years back and they wouldn't let him run, and they let every pile run there. It was a serious death trap of a car back then.

Yeah, the CRX still remains a hell of a twisty track dominater in (and sometimes out of) it's class. Very underpowered, but very light and very nimble. I still have that magazine sitting on my coffee table. Of course I have nearly every car and driver since the early 60's (I think).

Obviously everything out does it as far as power these days. But with very little tweaking, they are a hell of a twisty track car.

I remember seeing it at the shootout. It was pretty cool.
