i currently have a 91 awd MT talon and i plan on purchasing a 90 awd AT talon rolling chassis because the body is 100% cleaner then my current talon. I did a search on this and didnt come up with anything, maybe i didnt look hard enough... My question is, are there any known differences in the sub-frame or is it mostly hanging the clutch pedal and obviously installing all the parts needed for a MT. I have like i said a 91 talon Awd MT to take whatever parts are needed to make the swap work. Basically what im curious is what problems people have run into previously? Or if their are any other things i should know before i do this. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

It can be, and has been, done many times; but it will take time. The chassis is the same. Make sure you use the ECU out of your MT along with the cams, turbo, injectors, etc.

All the bolt holes are there, it's pretty easy as long as you have the parts.

I think I have the links of write ups saved at home. But I'm sure Mark will chime in on this as well, he's made this a habbit of sorts. :D but he went, AT NT to MT T.

well i pretty much have my 91' turbo awd MT to use any parts i need, but will these work on the 90 body? just making sure their are no differences i need to look for. but i figure as long as im using 91 everything it should work.. i hope.

The 91 MT ECU wont work in the 90 harness with out a slight modification. See www.vfaq.com , there is a write up there. Simple wiring change.

The tranny, cables and shifter assembly are different from 90 to 91 as well. But they can be made to work with some adjustment.
