I've seen a few DSM's with lights/blinkers mounted on the fenders, like a J-Spec car would. Is there a write up anywhere detailing how to do that?

Dsmtuners.com should have info on this. Please kill me now.

Or use this common sense approach-

-Get universal sidemarkers
-Drill hole in fender and mount them
-Put ricer blue bulbs inside housing
-Wire them into the turn signal
-Hook up relay so they blink at warp speed
-Put your hat on sideways and leean back!

I looked in the DSM Tuners archive, and didn't find anything.

And what's so rice about having a blinker light in the fender?

I think that looks hot with wing blinkers.

Yea it looks decent, its just not that hard of a process.. plus wire goes to red, minus goes to black. They sell universal kits all over the place.

Your posts just sound ricetacular thats all...

They didnt put them on for a reason. Most people here like function not bling bling.

Man, you're all about ricin' out that 1G of yours. Fender blinkers are ok if your car came factory with them, but they serve no purpose so there really is no point to adding them on. If you insist though, buy some eBay ones, drill a hole in your fenders, and just stick them on. I'd wire them straight into your current turn signal wires and see what happens.

lol, so I ask if a Do-Luck spoiler will look good on a 1g and all my posts are rice-tacular?

I will admit the spoiler idea was dumb, but meh. I didn't know they sold kits all over for that stuff. That's why I asked.

I just figure for the time being, my car is plenty fast right now to make me happy, so I'm thnkin about making it look good as well. I do honestly think no body kit looks good on any DSM, and I'm all about function over style. But right now, my car has plenty of "go" for me, so I'm going to fix it up a bit to look nice.

This summer I plan to make it faster though. So don't think I'm some ricer honda nut from Winona trying to pull that shit on a 1g. I have more respect for these cars than that.

How about painting it, getting rid of rust and putting nice wheels on it first?? Your working with a laser, hard enough to make look good. lol

HAHA, wow. Well, I suppose if you had an extremely clean and beautiful 1g, like the white one you posted, yup they might look OK. But, first, you need a clean and beautiful 1g. First make some power, then make it clean, then put decorations on it.
