Hey, I am having a problem with my car. I have been in the process of getting my DSM back on the road for about 9 months now and I'm almost done. Last spring I bought a S-AFC. Well needless to say I cut a wire on my ECU, I believe it was a green wire, maybe had a blue strip on it but I know it was the green wire on the big clip. I didn't have enough wire after splicing the rubber coating off to reconnect n twist them together. So I got a old wall connected cable (plug-in type, like in a lamp) and I cut it up and solder the 2 green wires using that wire together. Basically I dont know much on wiring and my DSMlogger is saying I have a ECU Comm Error. Is the wire I used going to work or is that why its tripping that code? I used a silver wire to connect the 2 coppers.

I no longer have the S-AFC so I soldered the wires back together, taped it up, plugged it back in. I started the car it ran, a little boggy but that could be because of the improperly tuned BISS. I ran DSMlogger MMCd

Active 21 22 23
43 44 36

Stored 21 22 23 43 44 36 25 31 41

21-Coolant Temp Sensor 22-CAS 23 TDC Sensor 25 - Barometric Sensor 31 - KNock sensor 41 Injector Circuit 43-EGR 44 Ignition Coil 36 Ignition Circuit

Any idea on these, I know my coil Pack is bad so is that tripping the 44 and 36? I have rubber caps on my TB fittings is that tripping the 43? A fuel leak was on the fuel rail when I started it up and the BISS is adj. improperly is that the 41? Im low on Coolant is that the 21?

WTF is a 25?

I'm sorry guys but i really need help.

Ok this is whack. I went out to my car again. This time i turned my car on/of/on/off/on/off/on without actually starting the engine then checked the codes.. It came up None.

Man I dont know to be happy or do it again and see what i get. Just an update. I went to the hardware store and got some clamps to tighten up the hose on the Fuel Rail that was leaking fuel on my Spark Plug wires. Maybe that fixed one. I started the car and ran it a tad and adj. the BISS.

Fix anything you KNOW to be wrong with the car. Then disconnect the battery and let the codes clear. Reconnect and start the car again and see what pops.
