Now from you profesionals...
Right now I have the GM sensors(MAP, IAT, BCS)
Would I benifit in any way by switching to the AEM sensors? I kinda wanna go with the AEM MAP sensors because of the way its set up(threaded in)

AEM vs GM should be the same, pending what the sensor can read, 3bar vs 5bar etc.

Like you stated, the MAP sensor is in a different/more convenient format (IMO), but essentially they're going to read the same. I'm not too keen on putting GM parts on anything, but that's just me. I preffer having a trusted aftermarket name over parts that come in stock cars for items like these. Once again, only my opinion though

The AEM MAP sensors are laboratory grade, while the GM MAP sensors are, um, 80s GM grade. But they still work fine. Only being able to read up to 29psi with a GM 3 bar isn't the most realistic setup for a DSM though.

We just use AEM map ither 3.5 bar or 5bar and the AEM IAT sensors, never had a problem. 80's GM grade, lol.

What about the IAT? GM or AEM?

I haven't heard any complaints about the GM IAT. Mine works great as well.

Does anyone know who makes the AEM and GM sensors? It'd be interesting to know the resolution of each.

The AEM MAP sensors were made by Kavlico, I don't know if they still are.
