Wow, the two tracks of Pro Kart must be pretty close to the same type of track. We run low 22's to high 21's at the Burnsville location. We run league on wednesday nites.
Have they changed the track up there since last year? I ran it a while ago but don't remember the times. How often do you guys run?

It hasn't changed since it opened. (except they added the outdoor part like they said they were going too) B-vill changed a lot from when they first opened, uses diffrent karts, and is really slick. Their normal karts are like drift karts compared to Maple Grove's.

Hoping to break my MG karting virginity. I suck at karts, but i love driving. I wish they had the same thing but with cars.

They do, it's called NASA, SCCA, Auto-x or open track. You can rent cars and do these things, it would be the equvilant to what you are talking about. But it costs so much more.

But it costs so much more.
And pro-kart is already expensive enough. I spend $70 for 2 races for me and my girlfriend.
It was a blast, but an expensive one.

My best lap at the burnsville is 21.4xx, but I"ve been there once, raced 3 times.
My best lap at the dayton location is 20.9. John's bests are .2 faster.
My average lap time at dayton is a mid 21.
So I think we'll all try to meet at prokart at 7pm.
Maybe we should form a dsmstyle.com league?
I think power to weight might be a tops of .1 per second advantage per 25lbs, it isn't huge but there is a difference.
I'd seriously consider doign some kind of winter league.
I may talk to them about gathering rates as well to rent the track.

Its a lot of fun, weight is a small factor in kart racing, its more of how you apply your weight threw the corner and keeping the engine rpm up with out sliding (Dayton location).

Sorry for being off track but,
Where are these pro-kart and other kart track areas?
Also, what are the costs?
