A day in the life of a honda owner. For every one of the stories that ends up like this, there are at least a hundred that go the other way. Those are just the ones that I see on honda-tech, which I don't really visit all that much anymore.
The theft rates are absolutely unbelievable, I honestly don't remember logging in and not seeing a theft thread.

Good call. But that guy better be careful, because the kids gonna come back for retaliation. I swear, the owner of the teg will probably get a very, very, good beat down. If that was me, I would have just called the cops, or I would have just let them take my car, so the insurance company can reimburse my money back.

Why would you want them to take you car lol?? You won't ever see the money you put into it, not even close back from the insurance company. Plus if your car is over 10 years old, good luck getting any money for any of the modifications on the car.

The thieves were going 140-150 in their civic 4 door? The guy must've been pretty pumped, he over-exaggerated a little bit on the speed...haha.
But damn, they got what they deserved! That's some funny stuff. I would've done the same thing, but disable their car and make them walk home in pain. Fucken theives.

FUCKING AWESOME! I wish they had video. Personally i would have just stole their car and sold it in mexico. thats what i call eye for an eye.
I know when we move into this new house we are going to set up some survailence cameras for sure. Me and my buddy thats moving in with me have way too much money invested to just have it stolen out of our garage. Hell cameras now days are cheap and they wirelessly hook up to my computer. so why not. Then if someone tries to fuck with the cars it will make a good violent video of someone being beat into a coma.
http://www.cctvheadquarters.net/lorexcolorwireless.htm $135 for color and audio, cant go wrong there.

It's Canada, so I'm guessing they meant 140-150 kph

Wireless motion sensing camera that streams live feed... Several of my buddies have 'em and they work great. You can mount them anywhere, and I mean ANYWHERE. They sure are entertaining. :)
$99 on Woot.com. You can't beat that.

I got a camera on the front of my house for just that reason. B/W nightvision with time lapse so a standard video tape lasts 24 hours.
Haven't had any problems, but have caught a few deer eating my parents plants out front.

My friend's camera is tied into his wireless network and he streams the image from his server so he can check out what's going on at his house from anywhere. I never thought about it before, but he also runs a porn site so there may be more to it than I originally realized. Hrrmmm...

Not too hard. The cameras area pretty cheap and with the right software you can have it record any length of time when motion is detected. We set up a system where I used to work and caught a thief right away.
