Never heard much good about Area 51, but there have been plenty of rumors floating around regarding cars getting stolen/stripped shortly after being at that place.

meh, i guess with cameras at my house, and being able to catch people to string them up by their small balls, it helps me sleep better at night.

The remote start can most likely be done by unplugging the clutch switch (usually has 2-lower switch is for starting).

On a car running a CAN system, I highly, highly doubt that it's that simple.

Allan, PM or email ACRucrazy(chris) on here. He worked for BB as an installer for a long time and could probably point you in the right direction. He is a tech rep for BB now so I am sure he has run across a situation similar to yours.

Might be better of emailing him since it doesnt look like he has been on here for a while.

Yeah, no where near that simple. I'm getting more info from Mazda on this as well.

I don't know if you guy's have experience with they, but Area 51 in Brooklyn Park will do it, or Sweet Sounds in Mankato will also.

Does anyone on this site know anyone from street scenes.

I have done business with them to but I won't take my car there. They had my 19' toyo tire on hand at there warehouse on centeral or uni.

I don't trust a lot of places, and it is good to get feedback on service and trustability.

I really trust Sweet Sounds but they are in Mankato.

I know MACH1 installs a compustar that does auto start for manuals.

To activate the auto start feature in the compustar alarm system. You first have to leave the car and close the door. It keeps the car running until you close the doors then it'll turn off the engine so that way it knows it's for sure in neutral.

Yep, I have a compustar system and they are one of the only remote starts setup for a manual. Mach 1 is pretty damn spendy though, I think $900 installed.
