Ok so heres the thing....
3 weeks ago i ordered parts from a so called friend that owns Revivedracing.com. i thought all was gonna go well so i decided to go with a magnus intake mani with the free fuel rail promo, and get a wideband O2.
A week goes by and he says that he was waiting to hear back from magnus, that he was talking to them via email and getting everything situated.
after the weekend he says that they finally got back to him and that they said they would send the fuel rail etc. and that he placed the order from aem so that should be coming by the end of the week.
Me and my girlfriend and him and his girlfriend go to knotts scary farm (a theme park turned into a big haunted house etc) all was good. they told me that they were planning on moving to texas very soon. i was ok with it because i thought my parts were coming.
here is where things get bad...
The week goes by and i talk to him, i ask him about the parts and he says that hes waiting on the tracking numbers. its starting to bother me because its getting harder and harder to get him to answer his phone, im getting nervous.
I ask when im gonna get my parts, he says "well there was a problem with my bank because im moving so somethign got screwed up, but i sent a money order directly to them."
he mencions that hes planning on leaving for texas on friday (its monday at this point) so now im really nervous because i dont have parts or tracking numbers.
tuesday come by and i get a call from him "they got the money order, they had to pick it up at the post office"
finally i take it upon myself to contact magnus directly and see whats up.
i asked them if the order had been placed, if he had talked to sean or anything.
they reply on wednesday with "We have not recieved any orders from sean, revivedracing.com, or Tom Ferlaak"
instantly im like WTF is going on. so i call sean and ask who his contact is and what is going on. he gives me a name "i think it was Mike"
i call magnus right away and ask for mike, "umm.. theres no mike that works for us, whats going on?" -seann pegg "i tell him the story and he says he will look into it"
right away i get an email back "yeah we used to have a mike that worked for us a couple months ago but nothing recent and we havent been talking with this guy from revivedracing.com"
at this point im really upset because for the rest of the day i cant get ahold of sean at revivedracing.com.
the next day comes by and sean is not returning my phonecalls or answering them at all. so at this point its time for action.
after i get off of work, i go to his house and park in his driveway with a buddy of mine. i knock on his door, no answer. so we are sitting here liek what the fuck is going on (i can hear his dogs barking so i know they havent left yet.
i call his phone like 20 times and finally on his girlfriends cell phone she picks up, she tells me that shes on the phone with him. and that she will tell him to go outside.
i call him and he finally picks up and invites me and my buddy in.
he said that he was dealing with slowboyracing on this order and they were taking a long time and he would gladly give my money back if i wanted. so im like yes just give it back.
he doesnt have the money on him but said he would paypal me the money.
so i leave (big mistake) he sends me an email asking for me to send a request becauase it saves money that way.
i send the request and start the calling parade again to get him on the phone. this was the last time we spoke.
i called him all day thursday and no answer, but he calls me back saying that he already ordered the Wideband but iwll get me the other money.
no money comes.
i call him today and cant get ahold of him so we go over there again, and this time his car isnt there and no moving trruck. went to the door and nothing.
at this point imfeeling that the money is gone and time to start the online flaming. i poist a ton of comments on his myspace and his forums reviveddsm.com heres where im at so far, ill update tomorrow.
