OK So the last couple days i have been knocking REALLY bad in the upper rpms. and richening it up and pulling back timing. But still the knock is there.
my boost guage has been reading 20-22 psi. I was looking at my dsmlink logs and i had it show the boost estimate, yeah its showing 30psi.
I know that dsmlink is just an estimate, but it has NEVER been off this much. In fact usually its right on.
Does anyone know if DSMLink takes in speed as a factor when calculating boost? the reason i say this is that when i took out the tranny the speed sensor broke. (im going to be replacing this weekend.)
thanks for the help.

You probly have a boost leak thats trowing off your boost EST. Or something wrong with your mass. I dont think it uses speet just air flow and rpm and some crazzy math thats over my head.

Its probably a boost leak. Make a log and floor it in 3rd while your going about 20 mph make sure to pay attention to the boost gauge, look at the boost est it should be the same boost at 5k as your boost gauge, if its not then somethings off.
Boost est is an estimate, if you want to log actual boost buy a GM 3.3 map sensor.
And why are you posting this here? DSMlink.com/forums will have way more info about it then here.
