2G fuel pump in a 1G?

Aslong as I use all the 1G hardware and mounting stuff, will a 2G fuel pump fit/work in a 1G with no major modifications?

Should, I've never seen aftermarket pumps sold as either 1g or 2g specific.

1G AWD, 1G FWD and 2G AWD/FWD use 3 different install kits and 2 different styles of pumps. The difference between a Walbro 255 for a 1G AWD and a 2G AWD is that the inlet are rotated 180 degrees from each other. You could probably make it work.

Thanks Shane! I think I'll just keep looking for a stock 1G AWD pump then....if anyone has one laying around let me know. I know someone on this has to have one!
