AC Removal Q's

I ran by the VFAQ question a while ago, and forgot all about it. I'm having issues finding it, so i'll post on here hoping someone knows the answer. When removing the AC from a car do you need ot cap anything off? Or can you just remove the pipes, leave the plug ins hanign and let it go from there?

You can just leave the plugs. there is a bunch of fuses and relays on the drivers side firewall that can be removed too.
