palm software problem

I can't get my palm lllxe to hotlynk to my computer via serial cable. It says connection not available. I just need to get the software onto the palm. I have the software on a disk. The software is mmcd and I tryed to use palm desktop.

k i have palm desktop, now what?

You should be able to sync the Palm to your computer. Connect it with the serial cable, restart the computer, and go through the Palm Desktop menus looking for the connection stuff.
