Job Title: Business Systems Manager

Job Description
Manage key business applications support team and provide technology directions for Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Human Resources, Supply Chain and other business processes.

Manage business applications customer requests, software upgrades, customizations, interfaces and reports through the process for software development and configuration management.

Manage, develop, and provide leadership of a technical business applications development support staff.

Manage and align business stakeholder requirements within the team priorities consistent with Information Technology objectives.

Develop and implement IT policies and procedures in support of all phases of application development methodologies.

Identify opportunities for process and performance improvement within the development support staff and IT functions, and implement solutions.
Experience
Successfully demonstrated the capability to lead highly technical and talented teams.

Must be familiar with application software development methodologies, software engineering, and configuration management.

Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Reports, C3, Visual Basic, Java, J2EE, and .NET programming environments and N-tier architectures would be an advantage.

An understanding of the capabilities and complexities of manufacturing, quality, finance, accounting, and human resources based applications and processes are desirable.

Education
Bachelors degree, preferred in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.

Job Description
Responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley IT internal controls scheduling, planning, testing, and reporting across ATK.

Provide assistance to the Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Manager on IT-related controls and issues.

Design and perform additional IT audits throughout the organization.

Provide assistance to ATK's external auditors where appropriate.

Internal Audit team members work with all levels of Company Management and are responsible for conducting reviews for all ATK business group locations, which currently number more than 50 facilities in 23 states. This position requires approximately 30-40% out-of-town travel per year.

Internal Audit team members should be able to plan engagements, work effectively with location personnel, work independently with minimal supervision, analyze IT controls and settings and other supporting documentation, and clearly document audit observations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are professional, adaptable and work well within a team environment.

Experience
3-6 years experience.

Work with the functional business experts to discover and document business rules and behaviors governing process automation and application integration for major ERP implementations.

Transform business requirements into business automation solutions using, messaging technologies such as BizTalk 2004, and Visual Studio.net to services to design, execute, and manage the business process.

Develop seamless complex business solutions between disparate applications using, messaging technologies like BizTalk 2004 messaging and WEB services tools and services.

Will be responsible for design and development of application quality assurance processes used to test business application automation solutions.

Will participate in an effort to define tools and develop automated test harnesses used to test applications developed using BizTalk server services and tools.

Will be responsible for the deployment and administration of final solution. Will be responsible for setting up communications among BizTalk services, deploying the application, and managing the application in a productive environment.
Experience
Must have BizTalk Server 2004 knowledge - development experience.

Microsoft Development Tools - Visual Studio.net - academic or experience.

XML Knowledge - academic or experience.

Information Quality Assurance automation - academic or experience.

Experience applying business rules methodologies to define complex process automation solutions.

Experienced ERP application integrator of disparate applications.

ERP experience specific to CODA financials or Cincom/Control manufacturing.

Responsible for performing business analysis activities to discover business needs through business user interviews and identifying business requirements resulting in recommending and designing technical solution alternatives.

4-5 years recent experience involved in corporate ERP applications (HRMS or Financials or Manufacturing) with technical and design experience in system analysis and guiding programming development. Experience in SQL and using SQL reporting tools with relational databases.

Experience in project methodology and planning and understanding its implications on business processes and systems development to insure its effective use in achieving effective business solutions.

Experience and proficiency in PC business software MS Office,Visio, MS Project.
Education
Bachelors Degree, preferred in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.

This is a little bit off the topic of these specific jobs, but can you tell me what the jobs you were telling me about before were that you said I could do? I remember us talking about this right before I left or right after I left.

Completly different animals. The job I was telling you about was my old/current job doing the entry level AP stuff. Going through the mail, scanning, researching, processing invoices, ect ect. Easy easy work and only high school diploma required. Theyhave 2 people doing that job right now in my place since I am doing testing on new system implementation, but they will be looking for a new full time person for that job when we deply on the new system, and that has now been pushed back till Nov/Dec/Jan I think.

I work at a bank in the IT Dept. Try dealing with FDIC IT auditors! Now they are the worst. We have to deal with them every year.
