Don't mind the title of the thread. It's for attention and just a goal to keep us going.

More pix from progress..................................

History:

Well we bought the Spyder with a built 2.0L 4G63T. The car ran great while it lasted.
Than one day my bro took it out for a spin on the streets and came upon a brand new STI that came off the show floor. The STI wanted to play around so my brother couldn't resist.
Well story....My brother beat him easily, but the wastegate vacuum line fell off and this happened.

So now the car is sitting at Modern Automotive Performance (MAP) in Plymouth Minnesota.
It's getting a new heart as you are reading this.

Here is the car before the incident.

So stay tuned and I'll update as the project progresses.
The whole project should be done by next year. So we're going to try to be at the first Sport Comp Day.

Thanx to Chris and Kyle for keeping me updated and being patient with us.

Our Goal: To build the fastest Eclipse Spyder that will stay FWD. :P

I too saw the car there. Those goals might be a bit high, but if you have the funding, go for it.

Yeah, it's high...but it keeps the car going. Cause if the goal was to go for a 13 or something...it would be lame..IMO anyways.

Thanx all.

That's JimWross's old car. Those ND cars sure get passed around.

That's JimWross's old car. Those ND cars sure get passed around.

JimWross purchased that car from my best friend who purchased it from a rebuildable car dealer in St. Charles, MN. That car is a former theft recovery vehicle out of Chicago if I remember correctly.
